This Privacy Policy explains what information Palpiteiro ("Palpiteiro", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Palpiteiro mobile app and this website.

1. Who this applies to

Palpiteiro is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used Palpiteiro, contact us and we will delete the account.

2. Information we collect

• Account information. You can play as a guest with no personal details. If you create an account, we store your email address and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Gameplay data. Your predictions, coin and gem balances, inventory, streak, daily rewards, and the categories you pick — the state needed to run the game and keep your progress.
• Purchase information. When you buy gems or subscribe to Palpiteiro Pro, our payments provider (RevenueCat) and the app store confirm the purchase. We receive a transaction reference and entitlement status — we never receive or store your card details.
• Notifications. If you allow them, we store a device push token so we can tell you when your calls resolve or an event is closing. You can revoke this anytime in your device settings.
• Device & usage data. Basic technical data such as app version, device type, and language, plus anonymous analytics and crash data, to keep the app working.
• Advertising identifiers. If you watch rewarded ads, our ad partner (Google AdMob) may process an advertising identifier to serve and measure ads.

3. How we use your information

• to run the game — resolve predictions, credit coins, apply power-ups, and keep your progress;
• to process purchases and manage your Palpiteiro Pro subscription;
• to send the notifications you opted into;
• to show and measure advertising;
• to detect abuse, fix bugs, and improve the app;
• to comply with legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is needed with:

• Service providers who run parts of Palpiteiro for us — hosting, push delivery (Expo), payments (RevenueCat), advertising (Google AdMob), and translation of event text — under agreements that limit their use of the data;
• App stores (Apple, Google) that process your purchases;
• Authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

5. Event data

The events, questions, and crowd trends in Palpiteiro come from third-party public sources. This is not your personal data — it is public market information shown for entertainment.

6. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we must keep a limited record for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons.

7. Your rights and choices

• Delete your account at any time in the app, or by emailing us — this removes your personal data as described above.
• Turn off notifications in your device settings.
• Limit ad tracking using your device's privacy controls.
• Access or correct your information by contacting us.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or LGPD. Contact us to exercise them.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including hashed passwords and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

9. International transfers

Palpiteiro and its providers may process your data in countries other than yours. Where we do, we take steps to ensure your data remains protected.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
